May 2016
Bergen Community College /NCBW – Student Prospect Night
NCBW Bergen/Passaic, Bergen Community College, and the Guidance offices of Teaneck High School hosted an information session for parents and graduating seniors at Teaneck High School. Representatives from Financial Aid, Admissions, Minority Outreach, and the Summer Intensive Program were present.

March 2016 - STEM Conference
The NCBW Education Committee partnered with Benjamin Franklin Middle School (Teaneck, NJ) for the 2nd  Annual Girls Conference. The focus/theme was STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).

  • The committee sponsored the morning “power” networking brunch. Education Committee Chair Karyn Wright- Moore facilitated a STEM resources presentation.
  • Presentation highlights included projected increases in STEM jobs for 2010-2020, resources, “Cool” STEM websites for youth, and advocacy and learning sites.

April 2015
NCBW Bergen/Passaic Chapter and Bergen Community College partnered to host an information session for at Teaneck High School seniors and their parents. Representatives from Financial Aid, Admissions and Minority Outreach were present.
