Our 2nd Annual Action and Advocacy Summit was held on April 26th. Assemblywoman Shavonda Sumter discussed disparities in Women Leadership and pay equity. Jane Collins-Colding shares her experience with raising black children and the importance of parental involvement. She represented New Jersey;’s Black Empowerment Network.

NCBW Bergen Passaic Chapter 1st Vice President, President and Program Chair present recognition award to Dr. John Harmon, representing the New Jersey African American Chamber of Commerce. Our program team partnered with the National Council of Negro Women Bergen Chapter and the Bergen County Black Caucus.

NCBW Bergen Passaic Chapter leaders President Reese, 1st VP of Programs, Cassandra Savoy and Public Policy Chair Dr. Natasha Williams with Pastor Donna Owusu-Ansah of First Baptist Church of Englewood. With 100 100 registrants, audience participation was encouraged.

Aseemblywoman Shavonda Sumter has been a partner of ours keeping us informed and supported our advocacy initiatives. Reverend Tami Henry Weaver joins Assemblywoman and President Reese.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
Promoting the economic stability and advancement of African American women through symposiums, workshops and community forums.
